Seymour Hersh, Obama, Bin Laden and the 'pathetic' American media
In a paper published in The Guardian, Seymour Hersh, Pulitzer Prize winner (after having revealed the My Lai massacre during the Vietnam war), explains himself on the timidity of the United States press and on the disappearance of Bin Laden.
He also explains how to fix journalism, saying press should 'fire 90% of editors and promote ones you can't control'
About New York Times, he said that this newspaper spends "so much more time carrying water for Obama than I ever thought they would".
Concerning the disappearance of Bin Laden, he said to The Guardian: "Nothing's been done about that story, it's one big lie, not one word of it is true" about the dramatic US Navy Seals raid in 2011.
